The till, online ordering, reservation and website tools behind the venue’s site: Toast, Square, Clover, Slice, OpenTable, Squarespace and 30+ more. A place opening on Square is a different call from a place with no ordering at all.

From the filing where the agency publishes it, otherwise matched to a public map listing only when the street address and name agree. No match, no guess. And when the site on record turns out to belong to the previous business at that address, we say so instead of handing you the wrong number to call.
Earliest stage first
Plans filed, license applied for, temporary license, pre-opening inspection, license issued. Plans filed in April are worth more than a license issued yesterday, so the morning email leads with them.

Why the tools matter
Most vendor decisions are made before the doors open. By opening day a restaurant has picked its POS, its distributors, its insurance, its contractor, its signs and its linen service. The vendor who called while the plans were in review usually gets the account, and the vendor who already knew what the owner was running had something to say when they called.

Public records, read every morning
- The agency publishes. Alcohol boards, health departments and city licensing offices post applications and approvals, each on its own website in its own format.
- We collect and sort. Every feed is pulled before 7am Central and deduplicated, and each venue is sorted into restaurant, bar, cafe, brewery, hotel, caterer, food truck or store from its name and license type.
- We look up the phone and the tools. We match each venue against public map listings, add the phone and website only when the street address and name agree, then read which services the venue’s own site talks to.
- You get it early. One email a morning, a CSV link, a webhook if you want one. Earliest stage first.
